Wirral Asking :Where Are We United

Hi Community, It’s karl here. I have to make a disclaimer again; this one is going to be a little different. I’ve been trying to write stories in a “3rd party” style as a “guy.” However, I am not going to do that from now on. What I am going to tell you has happened to me; this has been a part of my life..

A Glimpse into My Journey

I want to share some stories of The Wirral Community. This way, the community can hopefully find out some knowledge or events that are here and now. It is not me who comes up with all the knowledge or events ! I am just acting like the middle person. I try to pass on knowledge and community events from other people. It is the people I talk to, and meet out on my travels, and my research online which lets me gather knowledge..

The Magic of Community Events

This platform gives me, or you, the chance to pass this knowledge on. And there is no better way than community events. Because at these events, that’s when the community talks and shares more knowledge. Then they pass it on to me.

At a community event, the community member will start talking to a random person. They discuss their community, whether it is the history or the future. Then, the community member says to me, “Thanks so much, Karl, for letting me know about this event. You will never guess what I found out.” Then I say, “Ooooo, please tell me.” And the next thing you know, we are all a bit more dedicated to our community : ).

Beyond the Internet’s Knowledge

There is a saying that has evolved, “The internet has all the information in the world,” BUT it really does not !.

Embracing Uniqueness and Memories

DNA! This makes every single one of us unique. But in the same way, so do memories and life experience. No one in the world can think like you, because we act on instinct. And these instincts only come with experience. At a community event, you can find out about these memories and life experiences. You discover what people have done over their life. And you learn about what your community was like however many years ago..

Shaping Our Own Future

You also find out what our community wants to see in the future. It really is our community area, and we shape our own future. During my travels only this year, I have spoken to such a variety of community. I have also participated in lots of community events. And I have met some amazing people that will stay in my memories forever now : ) Big shout out to all of you x.

Thank you so much. And if you can relate to this story now, and you are thinking, “Is this that community member that looked uncommon? Who just started helping?” Then yep, it’s me! Ha! Again, thanks for giving me the chance to step into a group of community just so I could “help.” It means a lot. During these community events, the amount of knowledge and stories I have heard from years gone past, and years in the future, is priceless. And this brings me back to another saying!.
